The inaugural Summer Classic, a virtual FTF tournament spearheaded by Bill Hackenbracht on the vWDC Discord server, featured five preliminary rounds on July 23 and 24 using Backstabbr as the game platform. The top seven qualifiers advanced to the Top Board on July 25, with Britain’s Seren Kwok coming out on top. She bested a field including Dixiecon champ Karthik Konath, Cascadia winner Ed Sullivan, current VDL leader Mikalis Kamaritis, Whipping winner Jason Mastbaum, Massacre champ Farren Jane and frequent Top Board participant Matthew Crill.
