The only thing better than Diplomacy itself is Diplomacy played for charity! For the second time in three years, the Diplomacy Broadcast Network organized a charity match between seven DBN broadcast personalities, each playing for a charity of their choice. The game was held on March 26th, with the broadcast available here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/live/XDjVssgF20s?feature=share. British hobbyist Mikalis Kamaritis topped the board playing Italy, and thus his charity, Mind in Brighton and Hove, will receive a double share of the raised funds, while those of the other six players (Tanya Gill, Robert Schuppe, Kevin O’Kelly, Zachary Moore, Ed Sullivan and Karthik Konath) will each receivean equal share. The event raised nearly $6000 from the Diplomacy hobby in total.
