Bob Holt withdraws as DipCon 2011 TD

Long time Carnage TD Bob Holt has unexpectedly stepped down as Carnage TD citing family reasons for his withdrawal. He will be replaced by another Bostonian, Alex Amann, who will also be running the Boston Massacre June 18th-19th, 2011. Amann has been running massacre since the departure of event creator Melissa Nicholson in 2010. Holt named Amann as a top candidate for his replacement. Amann was later approved by the DipCon committee.

This year's Carnage (Carnage in Wonderland) is set to be this year's North American DipCon, the de facto North American Championships. Holt and Carnage volunteer Robert Rousse worked together to put a successful bid together to hold DipCon at Carnage. Holt plans to return to the event in 2012.
